Why legal converts

Legal work is document-dense, precedent-driven, and expensive by the hour — which makes it unusually measurable. When the work is measurable, the decision is defensible, and when the decision is defensible, adoption compounds instead of stalling.

The functions everyone expected to go first — marketing, support — often show the opposite pattern: fast adoption, thin measurement, quiet abandonment.
